Challenge: The client, a large Fortune 500 company, is a designer, manufacturer, and distributor of clean air and automotive products and systems. The company had been expanding their manufacturing and engineering footprint as they grew operations worldwide.
Solution: To support growth, they required a system to support harmonized tariff schedule classification activity of imported goods to Canada, US, and Mexico, as well as automated sanctioned-party screening and embargo checks at the business partner and transaction levels, and ability to control costs by managing requirements for free-trade agreements (FTAs).
