Part of Mentor's mobile workforce and fleet-management suite of products, Ranger allows for the real-time electronic dispatching of work orders and job-time tracking. Users can achieve in-vehicle navigation, vehicle tracking and instant communication between drivers and dispatchers. Ranger also works as an electronic on-board recorder, to help users manage Hours of Service (HOS) requirements and ensure the safety of long workers. The tool monitors speeding and features an integrated G-force sensor which tracks unsafe driver behavior such as hard braking, acceleration and swerving. New internal antennas are tamper-proof. Ranger 4.0 is Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled. Integrated Can-Bus connectivity provides engine data collection and reporting. The device is built to operate in extreme temperatures and harsh vehicle environments.
