Trend Micro Incorporated, a global provider of cybersecurity solutions, recently announced its complete smart factory security solutions, designed to provide enhanced visibility and protection for embattled industrial control system environments. The solutions will secure across all layers of Industry 4.0, mitigating this growing area of cyber risk to keep operations running by fortification.

Two new solutions, built by TXOne, a majority owned subsidiary of Trend Micro, are available to mitigate cyber risks in connected industrial settings. These include an industrial firewall and intrusion prevention system, EdgeFire and EdgeIPS, to limit the exposure of insecure communications channels and protect against vulnerability exploitation. Additionally, the security management console provides visibility across installed OT equipment. The OT Defense Console ties in with the industrial firewall and IPS to help managers identify the root cause of attacks.
