MFGtextiles.com, a sourcing service dedicated to buyers, purchasing professionals, and factory manufacturers of apparel, footwear, home, and commercial textiles, has been launched by its parent MFG.com.
MFGtextiles.com "intelligently" connects a buyer's design and production requirements with a factory's capability and capacity, enabling textile and apparel professionals to bring designs to market more efficiently and cost effectively, according to Mitch Free, CEO of MFG.com.
"We are launching an online sourcing platform that is truly transactional for the global textile marketplace estimated at a trillion dollars a year," Free says. "MFGtextiles.com has been live quietly for a few months and already over one billion dollars' worth of requests for quotes have been submitted-everyone is sourcing, from global brands, to boutique brands, to rock stars trying to launch their own clothing lines.
