The Warehouse Management System is an enormously valuable workhorse in any fulfillment center, but is not easily adaptable to new supply chain automated technologies and can be extremely costly and worrisome to upgrade. As a result, the Warehouse Control System evolved from the industry's need for a new breed of bolt-on WMS software.
