This internationally renowned annual initiative, founded by the Chamber in 1926, has become the largest celebration highlighting the benefits of global trade in the United States. Traditionally, over 800 prominent business executives, diplomats, government and civic leaders attend the WTW Conference to hear remarks from global and corporate leaders about the importance of regional business executives to become more engaged in building commercial, cultural and industrial bridges with global markets. The Los Angeles region remains one of the nation’s most important customs districts, handling over $400 billion in exports and imports annually. Nearly 500,000 jobs in Los Angeles County are directly tied to international trade, making it one of the largest employment cluster in the local economy.
