RedPrairie Corp. has enhanced its supply-chain execution software for inventory management. The updated version of the vendor's E2e suite helps third-party logistics providers to manage the requirements of multi-client public warehouses. Over-receipt tolerances can be set by supplier, part or client defaults. General default tolerances can also be set, with control tolerances as tight or loose as each client desires. The system records and tracks ownership, displaying it on radio-frequency equipment, screens and reports. It also creates transfer logs and associated billing transactions to accurately reflect the transfer. The new version of RedPrairie's supply-chain suite is now available in general release and is being implemented at a number of new client sites, the company said.
