Accellos, Inc. has introduced two new supply-chain execution applications. Accellos One Pulse is a supply-chain intelligence tool aimed at boosting the visibility of a company's key performance indicators, which are derived from metrics prescribed by industry groups such as the Warehouse Education and Research Council (WERC) and Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP). Pulse utilizes new tools from Microsoft Business Intelligence to provide users with tactical, operational and strategic intelligence. In addition to delivering information that spans the Accellos One family of applications, it can pull third-party information into a consolidated view of the customer's business. The initial release of Pulse features adapters for Accellos One Warehouse, One Collect for GP, One 3PL, One Transport: LTL Edition, Prophesy Dispatch, and open database connectivity. The vendor's second new product is Accellos One Visualize, a tool that visualizes a warehouse and its contents in 3D. Users get a three-dimensional, virtual tour of their warehouse layouts. By moving the cursor, they can "walk" the aisles or get a bird's-eye view of facilities. By double-clicking on a rack location, they can obtain detailed information on the inventory stored there.
