UPS Enhances Operations in Three North American Markets

UPS has enhanced facilities in three North American markets, with expanded locations in Calgary, Alberta; Hebron, Ky., and Mira Loma, Calif.

UPS Enhances Operations in Three North American Markets

Together they add nearly 478,000 square feet to UPSís global network of supply-chain services. The company now offers 528 facilities with nearly 31 million square feet of space. Its Hebron campus, which has access to 62 percent of the U.S. population within two days via UPS Ground, and 64 percent via UPS Freight, has been expanded by 151,000 square feet. In Mira Loma, an hour from the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, and five minutes from Ontario Airport, UPS now includes an additional 309,000 square feet. And in Calgary, it has added 18,000 square feet of cGMP (current good manufacturing practice)-validated healthcare space. It offers one dayís transit to the majority of customers in the Saskatchewan-British Columbia corridor. UPSís supply-chain services include warehousing and fulfillment; inventory, transportation and returns management; custom kitting and packaging, and store-ready displays.
