Advanced Distribution Solutions Inc. (ADSI) has released version 4.0.5 of its shipping software tool, known as Ship-IT. The update allows for the drop-down selection of freight terms and terms of sale or purchase, such as freight prepaid, freight collect and free on board (FOB). It automates the task of filing electronic shippers' export declarations (SEDs) through AESDirect.gov. The feature eliminates the need for the carrier to file SEDs, while ensuring accuracy of data, the vendor said. A box code database allows for the conversion of box codes to dimensions. A hazardous goods code table permits users to add, edit or delete hazardous codes from the configuration menu. ADSI is a systems integrator of distribution and wireless automation systems for the warehouse, logistics and supply-chain industry.
