Consona Corp. has developed version 6.0 of its Made2Manage enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for discrete manufacturers. The newest update includes fully integrated customer-relationship management (CRM) and a new material planning and scheduling capability. The CRM features of Made2Manage 6.0 give users access to current sales, service and business data. The tool includes contact, activity and opportunity information with integration to Microsoft Outlook. Users can assign tasks associated with sales orders, quotes and customer returns, while tracking them with to-do lists. Version 6.0 also includes a new planning engine with expanded analysis capabilities and performance improvements. It is especially well suited to mixed-mode manufacturers that require a wide range of planning and management tools, Consona said. A number of enhancements to the software were the result of customer feedback, the company said, adding that it is now extending access to version 6.0 to all customers.
