Accellos, a vendor of supply-chain execution software, has released version 6.0 of Accellos One Warehouse, the latest version of its warehouse-management application. The integrated suite of products is designed to increase the efficiency and visibility of activities within the user's warehouse and distribution operations. It integrates easily with major enterprise resource planning (ERP) software from Microsoft, SAP, Sage and others, according to the vendor. Features of version 6.0 include a Windows Mobile-based handheld interface, comprehensive directed putaway module, integration with BarTender for user-defined labels and barcoded output, extensions to interface with external print engines, and the introduction of Accellos One Common Components, which provide a common set of services for all of the vendor's products. The Accellos One family of products is built on the Microsoft .NET platform, and employs an SQL database and search engine. The technology is especially well suited to small and mid-sized companies, Accellos said.
