Omnify Software, which specializes in providing product lifecycle management software for electronic, medical, mechanical and defense manufacturers, says that Treske Precision Machining, a manufacturer of precision machined parts, welded frames and integrated assemblies, selected Omnify Empower as its PLM solution.

Omnify says that Treske reports a decrease in engineering change cycles by more than 75 percent by managing all product information within Empower and sharing released data with manufacturing via a direct integration with its Epicor enterprise resource planning system.

“As we searched for a PLM solution, one of the key requirements was that it needed to integrate with our Epicor ERP solution,” says Mark Brenden, engineering manager for Treske Precision Machining. “Omnify provided a straightforward PLM solution that was intuitive, extremely easy to use, affordable, and offered the capability to integrate with our ERP solution that other PLM vendors could not deliver.”

Omnify Empower is now the master control database for all system and product documentation at Treske. More than 20,000 part numbers and associated prints are involved.
