Zemeter S&OP Azimuth is the name of a new software package from Supply Chain Consultants. The tool enables the presentation of summarized data to conduct sales and operations planning (S&OP) meetings and pre-meetings. Equipped with an SQL server database, S&OP Azimuth provides companies with the ability to integrate data from multiple systems, including spreadsheets, and perform "what-if" scenarios during executive S&OP meetings. Managers can answer key questions during the meetings without reconvening for multiple iterations. They can draw on metrics that compare actuals and plans against budget by S&OP family. They can examine summaries by user-defined periods, such as quarters or total years. Data or graphs can be exported to Excel spreadsheets for custom analysis. Users can read supply plans from any system, or use built-in Rough-Cut Capacity Planning. The system includes coloring rules which highlight special situations, such as planned capacity usage greater than 100 percent for a production family. S&OP Azimuth is part of the Zemeter suite of supply-chain management software.
