It will continue to operate from its existing headquarters in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico under the leadership of Ayesha Diaz, director of Crowley's Caribbean logistics group. Michael Padilla, owner of PRFS, will remain in a consulting role. PRFS has 46 employees, including office personnel and warehouse workers. The business coordinates shipments from Europe, Central and South America, Asia and the U.S. to Puerto Rico and more than 19 destinations throughout the Caribbean Basin. It provides pickup for LCL and full-containerload shipments and single-carrier responsibility for all Caribbean destinations. Other PRFS services include risk insurance, documentation, bills of lading to the Caribbean from international origins, hazardous materials handling and shipping, U.S. Customs bonded cartman's licensing, and container freight station operations. The company operates a protected U.S. Customs bonded container station warehouse in the San Juan Free Trade Zone.
