Truition Inc., developer of an electronic-commerce platform for retailers and manufacturers, has added PayPal Express Checkout as an option within its Commerce Management System. According to the vendor, online customers will be able to complete purchases more quickly and effectively, without having to enter shipping and billing information. They can use data that is stored securely by PayPal, eliminating the need to re-enter the information on the merchant site. Truition's On-Demand eCommerce platform supports order, inventory and content management; advanced search and merchandising, and access to public marketplaces such as eBay and Amazon.com. Truition claims more than 125 customers in 10 countries, providing a mix of technology and professional services. Headquarters are in Toronto, Ont.
