The release of Infor 10x includes a reinvented HTML5 user experience, a new collaboration platform and analytics embedded throughout workflows that are packaged within the Infor ION integration framework. The enhancements span 12 focus verticals as well as business applications for financials, human capital management (HCM), enterprise asset management (EAM), supply chain management (SCM), product lifecycle management (PLM) and customer relationship management (CRM). It will be rolled out in phases, beginning with Infor ION, the collaboration platform Ming.le, EAM, CRM, Hansen, LN and SunSystems applications. It will then be expanded into additional core product lines over a 12- to 24-month period, with the rollout expected to be completed by the fall of 2015. Among the new applications is Infor Ming.le, a platform for social collaboration, business-process improvement and contextual analytics. Ming.le is embedded with such key systems as enterprise resource planning (ERP), SCM, HCM and EAM. As a result, the vendor said, employees across all areas of the business can communicate and collaborate, and follow people, assets and processes that are relevant to the task at hand. Documents, plans, photos and videos are maintained in a centralized location.
