Solution: Overnight, the food transfer's order status went from large to non-existent, as power outages and flooding rendered all foods unsellable. Dual problems arose: There were no products to restock the food provider's customers' shelves, and the shipments - large to begin with - were now building upon each other due to the weeklong port closure caused by Sandy.

Results: PJL received and distributed 30 containers - triple the original delivery's size. The project exemplifies how proper training and a mix of improvisation and experience were heavily relied upon to overcome an extreme, unforeseeable circumstance.
