Merlot.aero provides an integrated operations-management system which allows for management of crew planning and payroll, as well as aircraft tracking and following. BoldIQ provides real-time optimization software for industries such as transportation, energy and healthcare. The two companies are now working together on creating new capabilities for real-time operational planning and disruption recovery for the global airline industry. The Merlot.aero application will have the BoldIQ optimization engine built into the regular operations platform. When a change or disruption occurs, the optimization will take into account all elements currently in the system, and provide an integrated schedule to the airline.
