Dassault Systemes has introduced its newest version of software for product lifecycle management, known as V6. The suite of applications allows for the use of collaborative intelligence from diverse online communities. Virtual products and systems behave as they would in the physical world, creating lifelike experiences for consumers, collaborators and creators, according to the company. Through 3D imaging, consumers can try out products and suggest modifications at any stage of the creation process. Dassault's ENOVIA V6 offers an online collaborative environment on a single IP management platform. CATIA V6 introduces new collaborative virtual design capabilities. SIMULIA V6 provides industry communities with a collaborative environment to perform lifelike simulations and virtual product behavior testing. DELMIA V6 supports manufacturing planning, plant and resource engineering, and program and control engineering.
