Shifl, a digital freight-forwarding platform, announced the release of Shifl.Capital, a FinTech solution that streamlines finances and operations for supply chain companies.

This new solution allows BCOs (Beneficial Cargo Owners), carriers, forwarders, brokers, terminals, truckers, warehouses and other stakeholders in the supply chain ecosystem to initiate and accept instant and free digital payments. This solution allows these businesses to enact fast, secure financial transactions, resulting in smoother shipment flows, eliminating delays that have contributed to the current supply chain crisis.

To counter these problems, Shifl is now offering a no-fee, instant payment and cargo visibility solution through its supply chain management platform. Shifl.Capital features “ShiflPay” which offers various free payment options such as:

• Instant payments between all participants on that platform

• Instant container releases with participating industry providers

• Same-day payments to non-participating major industry providers

• Two-day payment option to any party outside the platform

“The supply chain revolves around the movement of funds,” said Levy. “With the traditional payment process, it can take days to get funds transferred from one party to another, with some instances involving transfers between multiple parties before final release.” 

Shifl.Capital is currently in beta and is being rolled out gradually.
