Just a few years ago, talk of blockchain for the supply chain was all the rage. And “talk” is what most of it amounted to. Today, blockchain remains an aspiration for many businesses. So why is a technology that’s nearly two decades old yet to catch fire on a wide scale? And what exactly does blockchain offer to global supply chains?
