The Kraft Heinz Company will merge its supply chain management and procurement functions, and restructure its regional markets, effective July 1.

Procurement and supply chain will be combined into one central function under Janelle Aydin, who will serve as global chief procurement and supply chain officer.

“Combining procurement and supply chain into one central function allows us to more effectively manage our end-to-end value chain and strengthen supply chain resilience,” said Steve Cahillane, CEO of Kraft Heinz. 

The strategy of combining supply chain and procurement functions is relatively new, but becoming more common. Frank Mckay was made chief supply chain and procurement officer at engineering firm Jabil in January 2022. Shilpan Amin was assigned the double role at General Motors in April 2025. Klaus Staubitzer has been serving as chief procurement officer and head of supply chain at Siemens AG since 2014.

Kraft Heinz will also reorganize into three regions: North America, Europe and Pacific Developed Markets, and Emerging Markets, consolidating its emerging markets into one, and moving some emerging European countries into its developed region. 

The company, which reported approximately $25 billion in net sales in 2025, said in a statement June 18 that the changes to its global operating structure will help accelerate growth, sharpen focus, and more effectively deploy resources across its portfolio of iconic brands.
