The International Institute for Learning Inc. (IIL) has formed a new operating company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The venture offers professional training in a number of areas, including project, program and portfolio management; business analysis; Microsoft Office Project and Project Server, and Lean Six Sigma. The new office is in response to demand for training in the Middle East region, IIL said. It is headed up by Daniel Mardsen, who has more than 15 years' experience working with global companies. Having a direct presence in Dubai allows IIL to expand its client base as well as provide enhanced services to existing customers, said president and chief executive officer E. LaVerne Johnson. IIL has companies in more than 18 countries, providing training in traditional classrooms, virtual classrooms and on demand.
