Kenco Logistic Services LLC, through its wholly owned subsidiary Kal-Serve, has joined with Schnellecke of America, LLC to form Team 3 Logistics LLC. The new venture will provide logistics services for automotive producers in the southeastern U.S. Kenco is a third-party logistics provider with more than 100 facilities and 25 million square feet of warehouse space in 31 states and Canada. Schnellecke provides transportation, value-added logistics, engineering, supply-chain management, production and assembly of automotive parts and components. Based in Germany, it has been serving auto manufacturers in Europe, China, Russia, Brazil, Mexico and South Africa. The company went looking for a partner with strong capabilities in the U.S. market, and the Southeast in particular. Team 3 will draw on Kenco's U.S. distribution infrastructure; 45 percent of which is located in the southeastern U.S.
