Cadbury Schweppes, one of the world's largest beverage and confectionery companies, with such icon brands as Adams Candy, Canada Dry, Dr Pepper, Mott's, Certs, Dentyne, Trident, Snapple and Seven Up, has tapped GeoLogistics as its ocean export freight services provider for the company's Americas division.
It is estimated that more than half of Cadbury Schweppes' worldwide shipping volume is conducted in the Americas region. The agreement focuses heavily on full container load ocean shipments and makes GeoLogistics responsible for managing all transport and custom clearance requirements, door-to-door from supplier to plants, warehouses and distribution centers. The alliance also includes less-than-container loads and airfreight services exported from Cadbury's Americas' facilities.
