For over 35 years Westfalia has been committed to innovating and implementing logistical solutions utilizing Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (AS/RS) and conventional material handling equipment. Our success has been shaped, to a large extent, by the satisfaction of our customers.
Westfalia Technologies, Inc., headquartered in York, Pa., is a leading provider of logistics solutions for plants, warehouses and distribution centers. Since 1992, Westfalia has helped companies in the food, beverage, chemical and other major industries to optimize warehouse processes and maximize efficiencies and savings.
Immediately after incorporation, Westfalia Technologies acquired Thompson Equipment Machine Company (Temco), of York, Pennsylvania. Temco was secured to provide Westfalia with a solid base of operations for the design, manufacturing and servicing of the AS/RS equipment.
Since opening the doors, Westfalia Technologies’ vision has been to introduce a European-designed line of AS/RS and equipment to the North and South American markets. Originally developed by the German company Westfalia Systemtechnik GmbH & Co KG in 1978, this unique method of pallet handling and storage is now an accepted supply chain inventory management practice in North and South America.
