Vitran is a third-party supply-chain provider specializing in high-velocity logistics networks on behalf of North American retailers. The deal expands Legacy's distribution network to 35 facilities, four transportation offices and more than 6 million square feet of warehousing space in North America. It also broadens the company's presence in the large-retailer market. Legacy Supply Chain Services is a U.S.-based third-party logistics provider with more than 35 years of supply-chain experience. Markets served include consumer packaged goods, high-tech, industrial manufacturing, aftermarket automotive, life sciences and consumer industrial.
