McLeod Software to Integrate ALK Maps, PC-MILER Web Services

LoadMaster provides dispatch software for asset-based trucking companies; PowerBroker offers an integrated, end-to-end system for brokerage operations management. ALK Maps and PC-MILER Web Services constitute a cloud-based, interactive mapping platform. They provide high-quality map visualization, with precise geocoding and routing functionality. According to ALK Technologies, integration of its products with those of McLeod Software can provide enhanced street-level maps with satellite imagery, weather overlays, real-time traffic and speed data with enhanced estimated times of arrival, and hazardous materials routing functionality. PC-MILER provides routing, mileage and mapping capabilities, including a comprehensive set of commercial truck restrictions in North America. The ALK applications are now available under a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model.
