Transplace Launches Supply-Chain Consulting Practice

Transplace, the provider of transportation-management and logistics services and technology, has launched a supply-chain consulting practice.

Copy Services offered by Transplace Supply Chain Consulting include supply-chain optimization, transportation optimization, sourcing and procurement support, asset management, business intelligence and analytics, and enabling technology. The unit will help companies to manage their supply-chain performance and analyze operational and service issues, Transplace said. It will also aid in monitoring compliance and adherence to operating plans and budgets. Transplace provides transportation-management, intermodal and brokerage services, with a focus on consulting, network planning and design, and transportation procurement.
