Honeywell International's Dolphin 7600 Mobile Computer is now available with GSM wireless technology and Microsoft's mobile operating system, Windows Mobile 6. Capabilities of the Dolphin 7600, which is built on Adaptus Imaging Technology 5.0, include linear and 2D barcode scanning, digital picture taking and paperless signature capture. It offers real-time connectivity to cellular networks, corporate networks and peripheral devices. Mobile users can stay connected to critical data from the field. According to Honeywell, the unit is suited to light industrial applications in transportation and logistics, parcel and postal delivery, routing accounting and field services.
