The LM4e Series features "entry-level" pricing and is designed for small companies and startups, the vendor said. It is suitable for manufacturing, freight forwarding, retail and life-science environments. Other potential users include apparel, automotive and military industries. Specific applications include designing and generating labels for shipping, compliance, specimens, pharmacy items, product ID, cross-docking, tagging and ticketing, inventory control and asset management. The units have a print speed of six inches per second, 203 dots per inch or 305 dots per inch. USB, wireless 802.11g, parallel and serial interfaces are also available.
