Maruba Lines has begun its new Pacar service, with weekly frequency between Manzanillo, Mexico and the ports of Puerto Quetzal, Caldera, Cartagena, Rio Haina, Puerto Caballo and La Guaira. The new service opens up connections to the Caribbean discharge ports via Manzanillo from Asia and the west coast of Canada and the U.S. The line is offering service for dry and refrigerated containers, including 20-, 40- and 40-foot high-cube boxes. The Pacar service is the third route to be opened to the Caribbean basin by Maruba in the last two years. The line's services include Maya, from South Florida to the northern zone of Central America, and Brasex, serving the east coast of South America to the north coast of South America and Kingston, Jamaica.
