Marcus Evans is very proud to announce Lucio Bicalho, Vice President, North American Purchasing at Electrolux as a speaker at the Chief Procurement Officer Summit which will take place on the 29th-30th April, 2019 at the Ritz-Carlton in Buckhead, Georgia.

Lucio Bicalho joined Electrolux in September 2012. Electrolux produces Home Appliances that are present in the home of consumers all across the globe and are installed in various professional kitchens and laundry centres of renowned restaurants and hotels around the world.

Throughout his journey at Electrolux, Mr. Bicalho has had the opportunity to lead the Latin America Purchasing and Global Fabric Care Teams for four years and since 2017 he has been leading the North America Purchasing Team and continued his global collaboration work in the Global Fabric Care.

Before joining Electrolux, Lucio Bicalho has worked for a variety of companies; He began his career with Sharp Corporation, where he gained experience in the semiconductor industry working with Reliability, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering. This experience led him to his next job at the Fiat Group and his first opportunity to work internationally leading a Purchasing Team. After 17 Years with Fiat Group, Mr. Bicalho joined the Electrolux Group. 

At the upcoming Chief Procurement Officer Summit Lucio Bicalho will be part of a panel discussion about ‘The Power of Procurement’s Role in Mergers and Acquisitions’. There is a lot of activity going on in the marketplace with mergers and acquisitions, this has been an ongoing process for several years resulting in companies buying others or selling parts of their business. Either way the procurement division will feel the impact and change.
