Aero Africa announced it would be expanding its operations in China and the United Arab Emirates by launching a new sea-air combined transport product. The company wrote that this SAS (Sea Air Solution) product will provide transportation from Asia to 70 different African destinations via Dubai.
In a statement April 11, Aero Africa wrote the service will provide “specific benefits” to regional economies, airports, shipping companies, airlines, seaports, forwards, importers, and exporters.
Jay Cameron, Aero Africa’s Corporate Product Director, said that the new product is “faster than sea freight and more economical than airfreight, and it reduces CO2 emissions up to 50%."
