Intelleflex Corp., a vendor of technology related to radio frequency identification (RFID), has expanded its European product line with the addition of the BAT-7300-EU badge tag. Specially designed for personnel tracking applications, the device features a thin-badge profile and durable design with long-range operation and on-tag memory. With a range of up to 35 meters, it includes 64Kb of memory, which can store critical data such as personnel profile information and location history. The BAT-7300-EU can help to associate users with assets in their possession, such as an employee with a laptop or driver with a vehicle. The long-range nature of the device allows for the tracking of movement within large physical environments, such as commercial and industrial buildings. Intelleflex's family of Extended Capability RFID products can stretch the range of ordinary passive tags to 50 meters, allowing for reliable reads in challenging environments, such as those around metals and liquids, and outdoors. The unit is designed to operate in the 856-868 MHz frequency range used in Europe. The vendor's Intelligent RFID Platform consists of numerous multi-protocol tags and readers for asset tracking, vehicle and yard management, control of work in progress, supply automation, and other uses.
