Beginning in August, Quartz Events will kick off a new series of limited-attendance shows for the supply chain, materials handling and logistics market under the title SCOPE-Supply Chain Operations Private Exposition.

SCOPE West, scheduled Aug. 29-30, 2007, is to be held at the 5 Diamond Wynn in Las Vegas, Nev. SCOPE North East is to follow, at the Loews Philadelphia (Pa.), on Nov. 15-16.

These events are exclusively for senior-level executives looking to source new solutions to optimize their supply chains, says Toby Harris, Quartz Events show director, and attendance will be capped at 300 at each event. 

"By limiting attendance to a select group of qualified decision-makers, the organizers are able to focus on providing exceptional levels of service and attention for each attendee," Harris says.  "The aim is to provide a highly targeted, time-efficient medium to meet with senior-level representatives from the industry's premier solution providers in an upscale, professional business environment." A customized meeting schedule with exhibitors is extended to each attendee.

Categories and exhibitors represented at the events include software providers, lift trucks, automated sortation conveyors, storage systems, 3PLs, turnkey solutions, freight carriers, and materials handling equipment.
