RSI ID Technologies, a manufacturer of radio frequency identification (RFID) antennas, inlays and tags, has opened a new office in Hong Kong. The location will handle RSI's channel and business-partner development throughout the world, with a focus on the markets of Asia-Pacific, Europe-Middle East-Africa and the Americas. Heading up the new office is Bob Karr, a 23-year veteran of the automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) industry. The facility supports RSI's plans for further global expansion. The company offers a full line of HF and UHF RFID labels, readers and software to customers in a wide range of industries. Earlier this year, RSI released more than 40 new tag designs, and doubled production capacity for RFID tags.
