ConsonaERP, a vendor of enterprise resource planning software and services for small and midsized discrete manufacturers, has entered into a formal technology partnership with Omnify Software, a provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software for electronic, medical, mechanical and defense manufacturers. The deal calls for shared sales, services and support, for both existing and future customers of the two companies. Integration between Intuitive ERP and the Omnify PLM application allows small and midsized manufacturers to share and synchronize engineering and manufacturing data through automated processes. Users can manage product data, such as component information, bill of materials, documentation, engineering changes and compliance data. Pertinent information is automatically passed to Intuitive ERP, where it is integrated into the systems's financial, distribution and manufacturing modules. As part of the alliance, a PLM integration will also be developed for Consona ERP's other flagship software application, Made2Manage ERP.
