SYSCO Corporation, North America's largest foodservice marketer and distributor, has selected XATA as its preferred provider of onboard computer technology.
XATA will provide SYSCO with XATANET, its flagship fleet operations solution, and implementation and training services. Deliveries are expected to begin the first quarter of 2008.
SYSCO is the global leader in selling, marketing and distributing food products to restaurants, healthcare and educational facilities, lodging establishments and other customers that prepare meals away from home. Its products also include equipment and supplies for the foodservice and hospitality industries.
SYSCO currently maintains North America's largest private fleet-more than 9,000 vehicles at 177 locations throughout the United States and Canada.

XATANET 4.0, the latest version of the web-based, on-demand software, was released in October 2007. It expands capabilities to provide customers with a robust fleet optimization system, providing access to accurate, real-time data encompassing all aspects of a customer's delivery operations.
