Intalio, Inc. has entered into an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreement with Informatica Corp. Intalio is a vendor of open-source software for business-process management. Informatica provides applications for data integration and quality. Under the deal, Informatica will embed Intalio technology into its data-integration platform. The partnership offers a framework under which companies can move to a more complete set of functionality for business-process management, the companies said. Intalio's BPMS software can be easily incorporated into OEM applications, while maintaining a unified look and feel to its clients, the vendor claimed. OEM customers receive full access to the source code. Intalio has also signed OEM partner agreements with OperMix, Diamelle, Gerelca and Coghead. Intalio/BPMS will be available in Japanese in April; with additional language support to be added throughout the year.
