Exostar, a specialist in trusted, secure business collaboration in highly-regulated industries including aerospace and defense, life sciences, and healthcare, today announced an agreement with Fujitsu Limited to better protect the controlled unclassified information exchanged by companies throughout the U.S. Department of Defense’s global, multi-tiered supply chain. The agreement brings solutions to the Japanese market that allow Japanese companies that participate in the DoD supply chain to meet the security requirements for accessing and handling CUI found in National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-171.

Last month, Fujitsu launched Fort# Forum, a Japanese language defense and national security solution that incorporates Exostar’s Managed Access Gateway identity management platform and ForumPass Defense multi-enterprise information sharing platform, which together enable organizations to comply with key controls under NIST SP 800-171.
