Brightpoint, Inc. has entered into a global master distribution agreement with Research In Motion Ltd. (RIM). The deal allows Brightpoint to distribute RIM products to North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. Brightpoint will support a wide range of RIM's BlackBerry smartphones. It will also help to expand RIM's global markets, drawing on a customer base of more than 25,000 business-to-business channels. Brightpoint is a distributor of wireless devices and provider of customized logistics services to the wireless industry, including channel development, fulfillment, product customization, e-business options and other outsourced services. RIM is a designer, manufacturer and marketer of wireless products for the worldwide mobile communications market.
