Avetta, a provider of supply chain risk management software, is launching an intelligent supplier classification tool in order to pair different suppliers based on the safety and certification requirements for the services they offer. The new process, an addition to Avetta Connect platform, will be available in early April.

Through the new tool, suppliers are brought through a registration process where they are classified by risk level based on their company type, industry and form of work. Companies can then configure their compliance and pre-qualification requirements in the Avetta platform for all supplier types, classifications and new risk levels. Suppliers are then are mapped to the right services where they complete evaluation questionnaires, provide relevant performance indicators and upload supporting documentation to complete their onboarding process. Finally, suppliers are evaluated against the right compliance standards based on location, local laws, industry, work type and client requirements to ensure safer and more sustainable working conditions.

With Avetta Connect’s enhanced analytics, clients have access to statistics, incident records, history and performance indicators, and can create configurable dashboards to gain visibility down to the employee level for specific job roles and work location.
