Trademo, a supply chain intelligence company, announced the launch of the Sanctions Screener platform. The platform allows businesses in industries such as logistics, banking, manufacturing and retail to screen their suppliers, customers, vendors and employees to stay compliant with international regulations and help protect themselves from sanction violations.
Trademo Sanctions Screener features global sanctions data gathered from more than 500 sources. Organizations may access this data via a search algorithm featuring cross-language name-matching capabilities, Trademo said, to get information about any restricted entity.
The data is updated every hour, and the watchlist feature can send notifications each time an individual or a company of interest is added to a global sanctions list. Businesses may also conduct bulk screening for thousands of trade partners, the company said.
“Over the past year, UN, OFAC and EU sanction lists were updated, on average, every 22 minutes,” said Shalabh Singhal, chief executive officer and founder of Trademo. “With Trademo Sanctions Screener, businesses can track and monitor global sanction lists to avoid sanctions' violations and mitigate future sanctions-related risks.
