Manufacturing Automation & Software Systems (MASS) Group, Inc. has released version 4.4 of its FactoryServer CMMS EAM software. The application provides plant-management and reporting tools for tracking and maintaining production equipment and assets at peak performance. Enhancements to the software include a new module that tracks possession and location of assets as they are assigned to users. Companies can now create their own custom reports on any of the data within CMMS, or any other SQL Server database, without programming knowledge or reliance on IT personnel. Users can quickly pull, organize and format any type of data necessary to make informed decisions. Reports can be accessed anytime, and e-mailed to FactoryServer users or anyone with an e-mail address. Improved asset-reservation capability allows calendars to be accessed from several modules within the CMMS EAM software. The feature also includes reservation approval capability, providing notification of approval or rejection via e-mail. An additional option reserves assets automatically via a scheduled work order. Yet another new module uses statistical techniques to measure and improve the reliability of processes and equipment uptime.
