Agility says it has taken over Copenhagen-based forwarding specialist CF Geologistics A/S. Known for tailor-made air and ocean freight solutions, the company reportedly has a strong customer base, especially in the chemical, pharmaceutical and technological industry sectors.
The Danish firm has been acting as a joint venture partner and agent for Agility since 2004, with Agility having a 29 percent stake in the company. It will now be fully integrated into the Agility organization and will operate under the Agility brand. The company will also have access to all carrier programs and support services, such as tender management, sales and marketing and operations excellence.

This is perfectly in line with Agility Europe's dedicated growth strategy and further solidifies our presence in this important market that links the North of Europe to the rest of the world," says Chris Price, managing director of North Europe for Agility.
