Mapping-data and navigation technology company HERE Technologies is launching new software to help plan and manage delivery vehicle fleets. 

HERE's Fleet Optimization package uses artificial intelligence to analyze historical traffic data to map the most efficient routes for fleet vehicles, while monitoring maps and traffic in real time, weighing factors like bridge heights, road conditions and slowdowns. The software also accounts for driver availability and delivery schedules to calculate arrival times based on recommended routes.
