SpringCM Inc., a seller of on-demand software for document and workflow management, has made available a new version of Privia, its application for managing the lifecycle of bids and proposals. The update includes support for additional content sources, as well as for Firefox and Safari browsers. In addition, Privia has extended its integration with content sources by offering support for Grants.gov, the source for federal government grants, and Onvia, for local, state and federal government contracts. Grants.gov contains information on more than 1,000 grant programs and access to some $500bn in annual awards. Onvia links businesses to more than 78,000 government organizations. Privia also offers the ability to manage large numbers of users as a single entity. Other improvements include improved navigation and response to user actions, faster upload speeds, quick and secure document access via links in e-mail notifications, and a label editor which allows for the renaming and customization of content fields for specific purposes.
