According to a new industry research report released by RNCOS, China's logistics industry is likely to recover from the economic slowdown starting next year.
The report, Chinese Logistics Market Forecast to 2012, finds that the logistics industry in China is undergoing transformation due to increasing investment and other factors. The report gives detailed analysis of the present and future of China's logistics industry, including factors like distribution cost, freight traffic by various modes of transport, and the current condition of transportation infrastructure in the country. It also reports that the logistics industry in China grew at an annual compound growth rate of 25 percent per annum between 2003 and 2008, with revenue exceeding $13bn in 2008.
